The kiln is still cooling but I got a quick snap on one of two winter pieces that will be heading to Ft. Collins. This is all made with frit and vitrigraph stringer. It will lighten up when it has cooled but it feels wintery enough already. Good on a rainy evening like tonight with a touch of fall in the air here at the studio.
Progress on the 18-piece sushi set. The left pic is the final set of full fuse plates with the right complete. What a project. I've had 3 kilns firing for a week. Be glad when its done and on its way to the east coast.
Welcome to the blog! I am the artist and gallery owner, Diane Quarles. I will post day-to-day outcomes and events here so you can see what is going on in the studio this month.
